Why a European cross-reference helps
- The EUVD assigns its own EUVD-YYYY-NNNNN id and cross-references the CVE id, so a report that cites an EUVD id can be tied back to the CVE and its NVD detail.
- It reflects the EU view of a vulnerability, which matters for teams that report or operate under EU frameworks.
- Having it beside NVD, KEV, and EPSS means one lookup answers both "what is this" and "how does the EU track it".
What the brain returns
- Look up a CVE and see whether the EUVD also tracks it, with the EUVD id and ENISA exploited flag alongside CVSS, KEV, and EPSS.
- Resolve an EUVD id directly to its CVE, so an advisory that only cites an EUVD id is still answerable.
